daily from Paris and 2 per day from
London are served by Air France while
British Airways also flies from London
to Toulouse.
By Rail
From Paris, Nine high-speed TGV
trains take approximately 5 hours to
arrive Toulouse. There're also 14
trains from Bordeaux (2 hours trip) and
11 trains from Marseille (4 1/2 hours

By Car
Be prepared to spend 6 to 7 hours if
you drive from Paris to Toulouse. Take
A 10 south to Bordeaux, connecting to
A62 to Toulouse. |

| Take Line A of Toulouse subway to cross the city
from east to west, while a north-south line is scheduled
to be opened in 2007. The urban transport system
includes 55 bus lines, 6 of which run at night from 10pm
to 1am. Toulouse has a well-developed public transport
service (Semvat). In addition to an extensive bus
system, Toulouse has a modern metro system. The VAL (Véhicule
Automatique Léger) metro system is made up of driverless
(automatic) rubber-tired trams.
As well, it's possible to drive since parking is
fairly plentiful and the vigorous and flexible driving
habits of the locals make traffic more smoothly in
downtown. |
